Ms.Marie

One of the blogs that I've always kept an eye out there is Ms. Marie, a lifestyle dominant female. She's been blogging for about 18 months now, and at the start she was VERY prolific - averaging over 20 posts a month. But that's slowed over the last year. Greatly. With only 2 total posts from July to September. I had feared that this lovely Mistress was burned out (which happens, all too often to bloggers.)

Aarkeybabble : Ms.Marie - a lovely lifestyle domme who clearly loves to use a strapon.Fortunately, she's continued to post, and reports that she and her sissy husband still play regularly - though she just hasn't been blogging as often. And I am grateful for that. Its been very interesting over the last year and change to see how the style and tone of it all has evolved. And when I logged in there today and saw the picture she posted from last Thursday, wow. I just had to come over here and gush a bit, because... OMG, that's hot. The corsets, the strapon, the super sexy raven black hair - *melt*

I like their blog for a slew of reasons, and I find their relationship to be one that I'm very happy to see and read out there on the web. They're a wonderful example of an FLR. The relationship has it's moments of real Femdom, it is almost always fun, it seems fully SSC, and most of all it is loving.

Aarkeybabble : Ms. Marie has mentioned chastizing her husband a few times, but doesn't talk about it often. So I don't think that they incorporate it as a training tool as much as just another kinky play toy.It doesn't hurt that she's beautiful and he is fit - and often quite neatly corseted. She sissifies him similarly to the way I fantasize about it. He's fit, but not a petite guy, and he keeps his arm hair, but shaves his legs. Sometimes she directs him to paint his nails, but for the most part, I think he could be out and about in the vanilla world as a "man's man" and that would be something I'd want, no matter how tight laced my corset gets. I also respect that they have a private life. It's totally ok with me if someone wants to wear a slave collar, but I also like when people don't feel that they need to put their sexuality out there for everyone else. It isn't their business, right? Along those lines, they have their own private basement dungeon, plus it seems enough property to get out into the wilderness when it is warm enough - though that actual temperature might be debatable. We have definite common interests on things too, and though chastity is a rare focus of their lifestyle, discipline, strapons and "somewhat reluctant" sissy training are very regular topics.

Aarkeybabble : Spirited, Kinky, Healthy and Having Fun!It's not just that we're like minded that brings me to her blog. There are some definite differences in interests too. Ms.Marie has talked about seeking a FemSub to join them, and perhaps cuckolding. The former is something I'd probably enjoy, the latter is a total buzz kill for me. Sometimes I wish her hubby would post his thoughts, or maybe have his own blog, where we could get his insights - though its likely I just want to be able to vicariously imagine I'm him. And other times I'm very glad it's solely the female dominant voice.

And really, what's not to like about all that? I am very happy that they've found their dynamic, and I'm grateful that Ms. Marie shares their lifestyle with us. I wish them both the best on their journey.

BTW, a little side rant... What's up with so many people who seem not interested in taking care of our physical health? If you are like me, and want mainstream society respect us, perhaps we could be a good example by ourselves more than the average. We don't all have to look like super athletes, but if we want people to see us as mentally healthy, isn't trying to be physically healthy a good reference point?

What's up with so many of us kinksters who seem not interested in taking care of our physical health?

Not just kinksters, bro. As my friends and I get older, I'm amazed at how many of them are out of shape. Some of them can't keep up with me on a brisk walk. Others have weight-related issues, high sugar, etc. They keep teasing me because I often get hurt exercising, but I keep telling them that I'm going to be a pall-bearer at their funerals.

Tom, great points and you've encouraged me to revise the wording of my blog entry. Kinksters definitely aren't the rule or exception to the "obesity epidemic" that we hear about (but seem to not do too much about.)

Ever the word of sanity Tom ;)

Aarkey,

Thanks for the heads up on Ms. Marie's blog. It will be interesting to read about another lifestyle FLR. Oh, and what is it about those raven haired beauties? ;)

The corset comments reminded me of the dozen or so corsets i delivered a few days ago for another raven haired beauty. She will be keeping them in a downtown play space that should be getting lots of use :). *Sigh* life is good.....

Slave2MN: Indeed, life is good. Enjoy their site. I'm sure you'll get more than a few smiles.

Thanks for posting this - I'll be sure to subscribe to her blog. Its great to see that there are people who... well, who manage to lead the life style I'd love to lead - so, there is hope!!
As for the weight - I agree with Tom - it comes with the age. I work out as much as I ever did, just don't have the energy to go as hard or as long. I suppose I'd have to give up the 3 glasses of wine in the evening, but that'll only happen when some lady kicks my ass into shape. ;)

Hi Aarkey:

I have been aware of Ms. Marie's blog for awhile. I stopped going as often because she stopped posting or I thought she had. Glad to know she's back. Perhaps she just reached a point where she didn't feel a need to post a blow blow of her relationship on the Internet and decided to just relax and enjoy it without broadcasting the festivities. I can certainly relate to that as I have been feeling somewhat the same way lately.

As for staying in shape it's a struggle but I keep at it. I don't kill myself but I did hit the gym today and use the elliptical for awhile. I do a lot of walking too. It's built into my lifestyle. Not going to be trying for the Olympic Marathon anytime in the near future though! ;-)

OK & HMP: I've met you both IRL and neither of you are part of the "obesity epidemic" - so go ahead and keep doing your thing.

FYI - I'm not a doctor, but I play one on the internet ;)

Aarkey,

Thank you for your very kind comments on my post and for your post here. I am surprised that anyone reads my blog since the summer when posting was nonexistent. I am hoping to amp up the posting schedule and post at least a couple of times per week. Maybe I should make sissy take up the slack? haha - probably not! :)

btw - I really enjoy pics of dominant women smoking - I'm glad that you post links/pics at times. I think it's sexy! (not healthy, but sexy for sure!)

Thanks for the comment Ms.Marie and yeah, I'm with you. The image of a woman smoking, definite not good for you - but it sure is sexy to me.

As to your blog, whatever keeps it fun for you is great by me. I'm just glad you returned to it.

Her blog is now gone, and her email (AOL) has been deleted as well. I hope nothing bad happened.

You're right anon, and its sad to see it gone completely. I hope she's well too, and it seems most common that people just want their privacy when they remove their blogs.

Though, without anything there explaining it, it will remain a mystery.
