More Blade Runner

This is not really kink related, unless of course there are more "standard pleasure model" type replicants, who dress all hot and smoke a lot. But I'm a huge Blade Runner fan, turns out that so is Lady Regina btw, but then again, who in their right mind isn't?

Evidently "Deadline is reporting that after revisiting his Alien franchise, the director is keen to go back to again to another of his seminal science fiction projects, and has now signed a deal to direct and produce with the previously announced producers Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson. They also have some wicked cool concept art from a game called Adrift, that hopefully can inspire a Blade Runner era version of Paris. Its kinda funny to think that the movie was set in 2019. Next, are some candid shots of Sean Young and some of her more famous cast mates in one of the sexiest smoking roles of all time, Rachel from Blade Runner. Looks like they were having fun goofing off :)

I watched a 3 part DVD about the making of Blade Runner, and it included a few of the takes from the scene where Rachel lights up a cigarette during her introduction. If you haven't seen it, its one of the most theatrical displays of smoking that's ever been on the screen. And watching the rough takes, its clear that the director must've told Sean exactly how he wanted her to make every little movement. And I for one, thank him for it, plus Sean looks so totally insanely hot, those harsh bangs, those dramatic lips, those dark brown stare right through you replicant eyes... *sigh*

And last, but not least, is Goddess Elementra, who is a character on a silly web comic series called "Super Force." Now, aside from wearing a corset, thigh high high-heeled boots, gloves and a snarky attitude, she's smoked in both of the episodes, though only very briefly in the first, and not very convincingly in the second.

Ya know, last night I got home and was flipping channels a bit before bed. I stumble right into a scene which had been burned into my perverted 17 year old mind when I saw it. Looking at it now, 25 years later, it is just amazing to me how totally hot and dominant, 37 year old Margaret Whitton was in that scene.

I just love the way she totally controls every aspect in that above video. She begins by harshly barking commands at young Michael J Fox right from the start. And after berating him a bit, when he compliments her, she decides to go all out and seduce him.

She refuses to let him close the sliding screen. She taps her perfectly manicured nails, she dangles her high heels, she rubs her perfect legs, she re-applies her already perfect lipstick dramatically... and then, just killed my young heart by lighting an all white 100mm cigarette and smoking with really deliberate style. Then, she intentionally exhales it up into his part of the car. Oh, my... yes, Mistress!

Yeah, they just don't make scenes like that anymore.

Not that new movies don't feature powerful and sexy women characters. Anne Hathaway's delicious as Catwoman, and really did a great job portraying the character in almost every way, and making it her own, which is no easy feat. Plus, her costume, (designed by Thierry Mugler,) is spectacular in its own right. And I'm convinced she was wearing a full corset during the slow scenes in the movie, and some kind of cinch for sure during the action ones too. Not to mention the thigh high boots with 5" steel serrated heels. Ouch! And I just loved the way that they played the cat ears into the costume.

If there was thing that I thought was lacking, it was a bit more sexual tension. Anne definitely knows how to get my motor running, and there was some interactions for sure, but I would've liked to see a little more teasing of Batman. Then again, maybe that's just my chastity belt talking ;)

Beyond that, Batman and the bad guys rounded it out to be a darn fine flick. Almost 3 hours, so be sure to go wee-wee first, or wear your depends, or in my case, a chastity belt ;)

There was even one remark that was straight out of the ClubFEM, Femdom handbook. When Catwoman brings along a totally smitten fellow to a meeting and someone asks what he was doing there, she says "I like to keep a man around to open the door for me." Purr, purr, purr.

Stuff to watch this summer

As I mentioned previously, I very much approve of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman. And I recently have been informed that she will be allowing Batman to have a part in her upcoming movie. I'm sure it's gonna be fun.

I know that Anne won't replace Michelle Pfeiffer's cat, but I'm a fan and I'm quite happy with the pictures I've seen of Anne in her costume.

Daily Distraction #53 : Arachnoidea

A regular reader sent me a pair of pictures yesterday that (unknown to him) were of the lovely fetish model who's incredibly intricate, and deliciously tiny waisted corset was part of the inspiration for this very blog, Arachnoidea. Wondering just where does that go?

Hey cyberworld. I just wanted to pop in and say that I'm doing ok. In the last couple weeks since my update, my wife and I closed the sale of our house and split. I've been settling in with all the transitions, and frankly, I'm doing ok. Its not all how I wanted things to go, and I'm still figuring my way and unpacking things, and not sure where so many things go - both in the real physical world, but also in my heart and spirit... but I'm really doing ok. I guess sometimes, unless I've got some specific guidance, I just never know what's next.

But for now, I just try to patiently walk through and find my way. I always do. For now, I'm just happy to be over the hurdle of selling the house and moving out of it. The wife and I both dragged our feet with packing and organizing, so when it actually came time to move it was a beast of a project. Really felt almost never ending there for a while... but its done. Aside from the fact that I have to go there today since I forgot all the laundry detergent and realized I still have the key to the back/side doors. ;)
